The 16th C. Villa was built round a tower dating back to the 13 th C. Farm houses, a private chapel and a visitable building dedicated to the production of vinsanto are situated near the villa. The wine cellar, where the wine is aged, is situated in the basement of the villa. The estate covers an area of 562 ha, a hundred of which are vineyards. These alternate with olive groves with as many as 12.000 trees.
