The beautiful
villa at Grignano was built during the Renaissance. A later renovation gave
it its typical neoclassic look. Its spacious cellars are found below the villa
and represent an enchanting route. The estate covers an area of 530 hectares,
40 of which are vineyards. The oil mill of the farm produces a remarkable
extra vergine olive oil. Jars and vessels dating from the 18th and 19th century
are found in the "orciaia".
