It originates from the merging of the farms
the grandfathers had bought at the beginning of the twentieth century
in the municipal district of Dicomano. CELLAR CAPACITY - Vitrified cement
vats with a total capacity of 1500 hl, oak barrels and oak and chestnut-wood
kegs with a total capacity of 70 hl. Stainless steel tanks with a capacity
of 270 hl.

DESCRIPTION OF ESTATE
The estate, consisting of several buildings,
is located in the municipal district of Dicomano and rises from the level
of the river Sieve and the slopes along the river Comano up to the hamlet
Vico on the hill at Frascole. That's where the main vineyards and olive
groves are to be found, in an area reserved for it since ancient times.
Its excellent exposure and the conformation of the ground ensure top quality
wine and oil. Thanks to renovation of the ancient village, dating back
to the medieval period, it is possible to stay in the farm.
HISTORY OF THE ESTATE AND ITS PEOPLE
The main part of the farm is located on a hill
overlooking the town of Dicomano, near the Parish Church of S. Jacopo
a Frascole, at an altitude of almost 400 meters. It consists of a small
group of houses which go back to the Middle Ages, although the origins
of the settlement are even more ancient, as testified by the discovery
of Etruscan and Roman constructions both inside the farm itself, as well
as in the surrounding area. The extent of the farm has remained almost
unchanged since the eighteenth century, as shown by the beautiful period
"cabreo" (feudal register of landed property), found by chance in the
attic of one of the farmhouses, which describes in detail the cultivations
and buildings present at that time.
BIOGRAPHY OF THE OWNERS
It is because of our passion for country life
and our desire to improve and expand what the older generations had started
that we have chosen to go in for this activity and to live with our children
close to nature and to farm work.
