DESCRIPTION OF ESTATE
A winemaking company which selects and bottles red and white Tuscan wines, mainly Chianti Rùfina d.o.c.g. and Chianti d.o.c.g. The main estate building is located at the entrance to the small town of Rùfina, in a small structure surrounded by forest trees. The production plant is on the ground floor and includes a storage area with cement, steel and glass fiber vats, medium sized barrels and barriques; the bottling area is equipped according to the most advanced technology for the sterile bottling of wine, as well as an area for bottle aging. The administrative offices and a specially equipped tasting room are situated inside the winery.

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE AND ITS PEOPLE
In 1939, Gino Tanini left the farm and started up a new business in the center of Rùfina, using his nickname of "Dreolino". This has always belonged to the Tanini family. In 1954, his son Raffaello, the present owner, began working alongside his father and, together, they were able to make their wines known and enlarge the winery. In 1967 they moved to their present premises. Today, with the contribution of a new generation of children, and following the recent enlargement and modernization of the winery, the company distributes its wines throughout Italy, Europe, the U.S., Canada, Japan and Venezuela.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE OWNER
Born in 1936, Tanini has dedicated his life to wine production. His wife Gina, and two children Sabrina and Luca, who graduated as an accountant and an agricultural technician respectively, work alongside him in the company, and are involved in the administration and marketing. The whole family takes part in company decisions.
