DESCRIPTION OF ESTATE
The Tanini family bought their first vineyard on the hills overlooking the right bank of the Sieve River at the end of the 19th century. In 1985/86, Giancarlo Tanini added, to the 17 hectares he had inherited, a second lot of 13 hectares and organized the winemaking center at the "Casellino", an imposing building erected in the 1920s. The vitrified cement fermentation vats are located on the ground floor, while on the first floor, well ventilated rooms for drying the grapes destined for refermetation with musts are found. After vinification, the Chianti Rùfina is transported to the "Giancarlo Tanini" Winery, in Rùfina, where it is aged and bottled.

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE AND ITS PEOPLE
A family-run business, managed in large part by the owner himself. The vineyards are located above Mount Bonello, in the San Pietro a Strada locality in the town of Pontassieve. Wine-tasting in the Winery in the center of the town of Rùfina. BIOGRAPHY OF THE OWNER - Giancarlo Tanini's principal activity is that of a tradesman. He considers his activity as wine-maker and cellarman a true passion that since his youth has tied him to the land and to the production of wine and extra virgin olive oil.
