Scopetani produces approximately 40,000 hl of wine, of which 4,000 hl is Chianti Rùfina wine.

DESCRIPTION OF ESTATE
In 1930 Scopetani's founder, Giulio Gerardo Scopetani, began working in a small but efficient winery located in the center of the town of Rùfina.
Thanks to a constant and laborious work, over the years the firm managed to win the trust of an increasing number of customers, until it became part of the reality of Chianti Rùfina.
Today, Guido Graziano Scopetani, the efficient administrator of the Scopetani winery, exports their wines all over the world. Thanks also to the care with which enologist Stenio Rover follows the wines produced, the firm has also won great national and international recognition.
The Villa Masseto wines, true quality red Tuscan wines, the fruit of the company's farsightedness, are known everywhere and are very successful, especially in top quality gastronomical establishments.
However, the winery's pride and joy remains the Chianti Rùfina Vigna Macereto and the Macereto reserve wines which, aged in the estate's ancient oak barrels, express the best enology can give us today.
It should not, however, be forgotten that Scopetani is also, and above all, a modern and efficient production unit and that, following state-of- the-art techniques, whilst still observing tradition, ancient and excellent wines of the past are extracted from the grapes of Rùfina.
Equipped with a capacity of 2,000 hectoliters, with the possibility of carrying out the vinification of over 1,500 quintals of grapes per day during the harvest, as well as 2,000 hectoliters of oak barrels for aging, Scopetani has all the necessary characteristics for competing on international markets, effective in its continuity and quality.
