From July 4 to September 5, 14 events in the villas and farms of Valdisieve

The summer of 2025 will once again host Jazz in Fattoria – Notes, wines, and flavors in the lands of Chianti Rufina, a festival that combines musical art with the enogastronomic and landscape heritage of Valdisieve. Starting from Thursday, July 4, for over two months, historic villas, farms, and estates in the area will open their doors to the public for 14 evenings that blend the charm of jazz music with the discovery of local products, with particular attention to Chianti Rufina DOCG wines, an authentic expression of the territory.

The project, curated artistically by musician Franco Baggiani, offers a journey through the cultural and productive excellences of the area, through a proven format that includes, for each evening, wine and typical product tastings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by live jazz concerts. The performances range from traditional jazz to modern fusions, with the participation of ensembles and artists of national and international renown.

“Jazz in Fattoria” thus confirms itself as a unique opportunity to rediscover the Valdisieve territory in a cultural and sensory key, while simultaneously enhancing the viticultural and landscape heritage. The farms and villas hosting the events transform into true open-air stages, where music blends with nature and taste, creating atmospheres of rare charm.

The festival is organized by the Chianti Rufina Consortium in collaboration with the municipalities of Pontassieve, Pelago, Rufina, Dicomano, with the support of the Valdisieve Municipal School of Music.

This year, in addition to the excellence of wine, the festival will feature the participation of the Finocchiona IGP Protection Consortium, the queen of Tuscan cured meats, which stands out in Tuscan gastronomy for its flavor, aromas, and uniqueness, and the Tuscan Bread DOP Protection Consortium, the food that has characterized Tuscan history and culture since ancient times.

Variations, polyrhythm, virtuosity, and a strong sense of rhythm with the notes of Finocchiona IGP offer an unforgettable experience paired with the quality wines of Chianti Rufina and great jazz music. Music that also pairs with bread made from flour, skilled hands, and time. Tuscan Bread, which maintains its characteristics today as regulated and guaranteed by the DOP throughout Europe; a label with Tuscany then guarantees the consumer that this is the only Tuscan Bread.
