Thursday, November 21st at 7.45 pm, at the Hotel Villa Olmi, Leonardo Romanelli will present a vertical of the best vintages of Chianti Rufina Docg of the last 20 years. The initiative, in collaboration with the Chianti Rufina Consortium, is part of the now proven appointments for wine lovers, called “Le Delizie di Leonardo” which the well-known journalist holds every month in the splendid setting of this resort on the outskirts of Florence.
The goal of this exciting tasting back in time is to make known and appreciate the longevity of the wines of this exclusive territory, known to be the highest and the smallest of the Chianti Denomination, as well as the “oldest”, being already identified as an area of excellence in the historic Bando dei Vini of Grand Duke Cosimo III in 1716.
Below are the names of the 10 producers and the relative years of their choice for this evening; after the tasting, and at the same time as the Gran buffet at around 9 pm, the same producers will have their other wines currently on the market tasted with the “walk around tasting” formula.
