Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi has won more awards: a few days ago, we received a preview from Decanter.

This year, the winery participated in the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards with its Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG Terraelectae “Poggio Diamante 2020” and its Rosso dei Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT “Mazzaferrata 2019”, both of which were awarded the 94/100 Silver medal.

The “Poggio Diamante 2020” is an intense, brilliant ruby red in color with subtle purple highlights.
It has a powerful nose with fruity and floral notes, including rose, macerated wild berries such as cherry and blackcurrant, and hints of orange.
Notes of sweet spices such as vanilla emerge, finishing with notes of leather, chocolate, and tobacco.
The notes perceived on the nose are repeated on the palate, with a particularly fresh kick reminiscent of citrus notes such as tarocco, and red currants finishing with subtle notes of licorice.
An elegant and distinctive wine with well-integrated and silky tannins!
