The Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi, wins other awards, in fact, a few days ago we received a preview from Decanter.

This year the company participated in Decanter World Wine Awards 2020, with the Rosso Colli Toscana Centrale IGT “Mazzaferrata 2015“, this wine was awarded the silver medal, while the Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG “Villa Bossi 2016” with the bronze medal.

Mazzaferrata has an impenetrable ruby red color, with a great visual impact. The nose is very intense and of great complexity, with sensations that begin with black fruits, such as blueberry and plum and then decline with spicy and toasted notes. The spiciness is sweet with hints of cardamom, cumin, it closes with nuances of bitter chocolate and sweet tobacco. The taste is powerful and rich, the tannins are tight and silky. In the mouth the fruity notes of plum and toasted and spicy ones are repeated. A wine with great personality.
