Tasting notes
In the glass, it shows a full ruby red, crossed by bright violet reflections.
The nose is one of extraordinary personality: it opens with a lively, generous fruit, made of ripe fruit, strawberry and cherry, then unfolds into a sweet spice of vanilla. The olfactory finish is enriched by evocative nuances of leather and sweet blond tobacco.
On the palate, the entry is soft and elegant, supported by a well-balanced tannin and a freshness that drives the drinking experience. The sip closes savory and persistent, with a return of red fruit, particularly cherry, in perfect aromatic harmony with the sweet blond tobacco.
A recognition that confirms the value of Pian dei Sorbi and Tenuta Bossi’s place among the great expressions of Chianti Rufina.
