Among the wonderful evaluations of Marchesi Gondi’s wines, the Rosso dei Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2018 excels, which obtained 4 shoots, therefore a rating of over 90/100.
Mazzaferrata 2016 is an impenetrable ruby red, of great visual impact with almost purple reflections. On the nose it is very intense and very complex, with sensations that begin with black fruits, such as blueberry and plum juice and then decline with spicy and toasted notes. The spiciness is impressive with hints of cardamom, cumin, closing with nuances of bitter chocolate and sweet tobacco. The taste is powerful and rich, the tannins are tight and silky. In the mouth, the fruity notes of blueberry and the toasted and spicy ones emerge. A wine with great personality!
